Realistic Building

This was an exercise to illustrate a real building. I chose to use a heritage building in my neighborhood. I used a variety of illustrator techniques and tools to get as much detail as possible and make it as close to the photograph.

Contest Entry

This illustration was something I entered on a contest in March 2020. I was not a winner but I like how the illustration turned out. The contest was about illustrating the meaning of comfy to you. The only restriction was it could only be in three colors, black , white and turquoise. I chose to illustrate a women floating in a pool. She puts on the shoes and they are so “comfy” she is transported to a tropical oasis where she floats on the sole of a shoe.
